Photography has been a hobby of mine for as long as I can remember! My camera is always with me, and I'm always looking for that perfect shot. Photography is so important to me that in the fall of 2008, I turned my passion into a business. Even so, it's not stictly business when I'm behind the camera... I LOVE what I do.

About Your Session
Joys of Life Photography specializes in creative and edgy senior pictures, adorable children's photography, and unique family portraits. See below for more information on each.
Children’s Portraits: $30.00
Included in this package is a session for one child in my studio or a location of your choice. Multiple clothing changes are also included. Feel free to bring anything that represents your child's personality or interests, including accessories, loveys, favorite stuffed animal, book or toy.

Baby’s FIRST YEAR PACKAGE: $150.00
Babies grow so fast, and we want to capture every joyful moment in that first year!
Package includes:
- 5 Children's Portrait Sessions (see above for detailed information): Newborn (must be 2 weeks or younger), 3 months, 6 month, 9 month and 1 year!
- 20% off all print orders.
- Online proofing for all sessions.
- add a 5x5 proof book (yours to keep after every session... a great way to get all of the photos you just can’t pass up): $200.00
Family Portraits: $50.00
Included in this package is a session for your family at a location of your choice. See below for location options. Families of five persons or less may choose to have their session in my studio instead. Plain colored, simple clothing is recommended. Remember to stay away from too many stripes or patterns, and choose a few main colors as your theme.
Senior Portraits: $50.00
Included in this package is a session for one senior at any combination of two locations. My studio is always a location option, as are the other locations described below. Unlimited clothing changes are included (and encouraged!). Bring along your scarves, boots, jewelry, sunglasses, and sports equipment and let's have fun!
Location options for Families and Seniors:
- Downtown Grand Rapids, Urban - This is an antique look, found in a part of Grand Rapids that you are most likely not familiar with! Here the backdrop options are endless and include broken windows, old brick buildings, graffiti, rusty railings, and railroad tracks.
- Downtown Grand Rapids, Modern - This is a tidy, minimalist look, found in the heart of downtown. Clean lines abound near the river, and in the architecture of museums and sculptures.
- Beach Scene, Holland or Grand Haven – This is a perfect place to get those classic beach shots. Sand dunes, the water, dune grass, and the pier are just a few of the great natural props found here.
- Beach & City Scene - This is the perfect package if you want to get the beach and downtown shots. You can choose either Holland or Grand Haven for this session.
- Any other location that suites your personality!
**Your non-refundable session fee is due at the time of booking and reserves your date. In case of an emergency or bad weather conditions, we will reschedule.**
